The app (iPhone and iPad) runs entirely on the device and relies on no server of the publisher. It is distributed through the App Store by Apple Distribution International Ltd., Hollyhill Industrial Estate, Hollyhill, Cork, Ireland.

All rights reserved; any reproduction, modification or distribution without permission is prohibited. The Inter typeface, served with this site, is used under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.

Privacy policy

In short

Telepromptia works without an account, advertising, analytics or trackers. The app sends us nothing: your scripts, your videos and your settings stay on your device. The only personal data we may receive is what you send us yourself by email.

Data kept on your device

Your settings (text size and font, mirror mode, video resolution and stabilisation), your text drafts (up to 10) and a local usage counter, used only to decide when to offer you Pro, are stored in the app’s storage on your device. They are never sent to us and we have no access to them. They may be included in your device backups (iCloud or computer) if you have turned those on. Deleting the app deletes everything.

Camera, microphone and photo library

The app asks for camera and microphone access to film: picture and sound are processed on the device and never sent anywhere. It asks for photo library access to save your videos there; it does not read, display or transmit your photos. You can withdraw each permission at any time in Settings › Telepromptia. If you use iCloud Photos, it is Apple, under its own privacy policy, that syncs your videos.

Texts and imported files

The texts you type, import (text or PDF) or export are processed on your device. Files go through iOS’s file picker: the app only accesses the ones you choose.

When you write to us

• Data: your email address, your name if your mail app shows it, and your message.
• Purpose: answering you and fixing the problems you report. Never advertising, never resale.
• Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering the requests we receive (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).
• Recipients: Creanima only, and our email provider, which hosts our mailbox on our behalf.
• Retention: for the time needed to answer you, then deleted no later than 12 months after our last exchange.

Apple

Downloading the app and the Pro purchase are handled by Apple under its own privacy policy. We receive no payment details and do not know who bought: Apple sends us only aggregated sales reports, and the app checks your purchase on the device, with Apple’s services, without contacting us and without any third-party service. If you chose to share analytics with app developers (Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements), Apple may give us crash reports and usage statistics that do not identify you.

This website

These pages set no cookies and use no analytics. Fonts are served from this site, with no call to third-party services. As with any website, our host keeps technical logs (IP address, page requested, date) needed to keep the service secure, for at most one year.

Transfers outside the EU

We do not transfer your data outside the European Union ourselves. Should our email provider process data outside the EU, it does so under the safeguards of the GDPR (adequacy decision or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses).

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability (GDPR art. 15 to 21). Write to info (a) creanima.com or to Creanima, 6 rue Guy de la Brosse, 75005 Paris, France; we answer within one month. No decision about you is made automatically and there is no profiling.

If you think your rights are not respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr, 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France) or the supervisory authority of your country.

Children

The app collects no data and can be used at any age. A child under 15 should not write to us without a parent’s agreement.

If this policy changes, the new version will appear here with its date.

Terms of use

Your use of Telepromptia is governed by Apple’s standard licensed application end user license agreement (EULA), with the following additions.

• Telepromptia is a reading and filming tool. You remain responsible for what you film, the texts you read and for respecting the rights of the people filmed and of the content you use.
• Your scripts, drafts and videos only exist on your device. We cannot recover them if they are deleted: keep your backups on.
• The app requires a compatible iPhone or iPad running iOS 26 or later. Correct operation cannot be guaranteed on an unsupported system, and we do not guarantee that future updates will be provided.
• To the extent permitted by law, Creanima cannot be held liable for data loss or indirect damage arising from use of the app. These terms do not limit the rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country of residence, including statutory conformity guarantees.
• These terms are governed by French law, without prejudice to the rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country of residence.

Price and in-app purchase

• Free version. You can use these without paying: the prompter, the editor and text and PDF import, video controls in 720p and 1080p, and three filters.
• Telepromptia Pro. A one-time in-app purchase (non-consumable), not a subscription: nothing is charged afterwards. It unlocks all 15 filters, 4K recording and mirror mode.
• Price. The price, all taxes included, is the one shown on your country’s App Store at the time of purchase; it may vary between countries and over time, with no effect on a purchase already made.
• Restoring the purchase. The purchase is tied to your Apple account. “Restore purchases”, on the Telepromptia Pro screen, brings it back on a new device or after reinstalling.
• Payment, withdrawal and refunds. Apple processes the payment: billing, the right of withdrawal and refunds fall under the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. To ask for a refund: reportaproblem.apple.com. We receive no payment details.
• After a refund, the Pro features become unavailable again.
